What is VPL
The VPL system reduces and removes many kinds of hair on most types of skin quickly and comfortably. Likewise, it has the ability to reduce and destroy acne, age spots, thread veins (of a certain size), hyper-pigmentation, freckles, rosacea, redness and fine lines/wrinkles. It also has the ability to significantly reduce scarring and has been known in some cases to remove it completely.
Up until now this type of treatment has been known most commonly as IPL or Laser Hair Removal but since technology never stands still the Most recent upgrade is the VPL (Variable Pulsed Light) it has proved that with a wider range of wavelengths preferentially absorbed by the appropriate structure of the skin, the VPL gets better results.
The Energist is capable of removing unwanted hair from any body part including the face. It is NOT capable of removing Grey or White hair as the light works on the pigment (colour) of the hair and white hair has no pigment.
